The beginning of aerospace times. This is Sperry M-1 Messenger, the first full-scale airplane tested in the tunnel. Miller here in the middle of 'high-tech' was chief of aerodynamics.
I find this timely as I am right now headed for a local gathering to watch my grandfathers photography. :-)
